15 - Giro del Neizzen
Serrada lies in a pleasant meadow basin, in spite of its name a wide, open space, surrounded by pastures and fir forests. It is an area that lends itself well to easy, regenerating walks. The Neizzen tour runs in the north-west of the settlement, predominantly in a forest environment. Also suitable for families with children +6 years.
In other times, rural and alpine activity was the basis of the local economy. Now what were once haymaking and haymaking roads have become paths for comfortable walks. The tour starts in the locality of Plota and descends towards the wide meadow basin of Kasborza, but then resolutely turns to enter a lush mixed forest (pine, fir, beech, hornbeam). It finally leads upstream from the Serrada - Folgaria provincial road to re-enter the village from the north-east.
