2 - San Valentino route
The destination of the walk is the ancient church of San Valentino and San Biagio (the original core dates back to 1480), built on the edge of the ledge overlooking the upper valley of the Rio Cavallo - Rosspach. It served the nearby farms of Carpeneda, the Mezzomonte area, and the numerous mills active along the underlying Rosspach stream. It houses frescoes from 1568. The route is of medium difficulty, also suitable for families with children (+ 6 / 8 years).
The route follows the ancient Longanorbait road that leads from Folgaria downhill, among wide pastures, until it intersects with the SS350. From the state road it then turns towards the little church crossing the small village of Carpeneda.
