Baita nonno Ghino on the Pinè Plateau offers the several possibility to hike in the sorrounding Lagorai mountains and to have easy walks along three wonderful lakes: Lake Serraia, which is connected with an easy path to Lake Piazze, awarded with the Blue Flag label. A few kilometers away is to be found another small body of water, the Buse lake. The Plateau is known in the summer season for seaside tourism, offering various beaches equipped with games for children, bars, ice cream parlors and restaurants. In addition, a beach for our dog friends has recently been created on the shore of Lake Piazze. In Campolongo, the Dallapiccola horse farm offers horseback riding also for beginners and riding courses for children. For the little ones there is the possibility to ride some nice ponies. The farm also offers the to horse boarding opportunity for own horses: so, if you have a horse and want to take it with you on vacation this is the right place for you.

Hello, I'm Martina, my family and I have decided this year, 2020, to start this adventure to promote our wonderful Pinè Plateau and give the opportunity to spend holiday in total relax, both in summer and winter, in our “Baita Nonno Ghino” brand-new chalet with wellness center, equipped with Turkish bath and Finnish sauna.

Conditions
1. BAITA NONNO GHINO is exclusively reserved for the occupying Guests: access to unauthorized persons is therefore prohibited;
2. Check-in 15:00 , check-out 08:00.
3. It is strictly forbidden to remove appliances or parts of the equipment (towels, blankets, ornaments, …).
4. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the chalet.
5. Four-legged friends are welcome with a surcharge of € 25.00 / each per stay and they cannot enter: in the sleeping area, in the bathroom and not even in the wellness center.
6. It is recommended to carefully read the instructions before using the sauna and Turkish bath. They are placed just before their entrance. The host is at your disposal for any doubts.

Arrival

Along the highway SP43, at the intersection with the SP224 to Passo del Redebus, turn right towards Regnana. After about 300 meters,turn right again in Via Tamagi. Follow the road for another 300 meters and you will reach Baita Nonno Ghino.

The chalet is in typical mountain styel, characterized by stone and log walls and wooden interiors. It is built on two floors for a total square footage of about 87 square meters. On the groumd floor you will find all in an open space: the kitchen, the lunchroom and the livingroom. If you go down 3 steps you will reach the bathroom and the wellneas area, while on the first floor there is the sleeping area. Baita Nonno Ghino can accomodate a maximun of 8 people; children untill 14 years old do not pay. As for our dog friends, they are welcome as long as they do not access the sleeping area, the bathroom, nor the wellness area. You can easily reach the structure by car, parking just before the garden shown in the photo. The chalet is sorrounded by a wide unfenced garden, with a confortable wood-burning barbecue, a terrace where you can eat outside with a big table and benches.
