The hotel is situated 500mt from the centre of Canazei (an 8 minute walk) and 800mt from the bottom of the Belvedere funicular (a 12 minute walk), which in winter takes you directly to the ski resort Sellaronda, in the Dolomiti Superski area, whereas in summer it is the start of many scenic hiking trails. In winter we offer a free stuttle bus to the ski centres in Canazei. Our hotel is situated in a peaceful, sunny area in the centre, but at the same time away from the traffic, the ideal place for a wonderful summer or winter holiday. The hotel was built and opened in 1981 and has always been run by the Fosco family. Over the years various modernisations and improvements have been made in order to keep up with the times and the needs of the guests. The Hotel Jan Maria in Canazei, in Val di Fassa, offers a magnificent view of the Dolomites in the Trentino region. These mountains are a Unesco Heritage Site.
