Totoga Rock-climbing area

The Totoga rock-climbing area is located where the rugged Schener gorge opens out to the wide Valle di Primiero. It is one of most famous cliffs in Italy, and is ideal for expert climbers. These walls featuring excellent calcareous stone provide for a very technical climb. Safety is excellent, seeing that they have been recently and newly equipped with spits. The calcareous rock is practicable in any season. Up to the left climbers will see a compact light-grey calcareous stripe. The area offers over 200 routes ranging from French 4 to 8 b+ grade, which is equivalent to 11. Development up to 230 m and 200 m ascent. The rock and the location are truly beautiful, especially in autumn.
