The Brava Part 2026: The Return of the Witch and the Magic of Alpine Traditions

The Alpe Cimbra is preparing to welcome one of the most awaited events of the year: The Brava Part, the great popular festival that celebrates the traditions of the mountains with a riot of sounds, colors, flavors, and ancient crafts. On September 26 and 27, 2026, Folgaria will become the beating heart of Trentino culture, where history, folklore, and conviviality intertwine in an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for events in Trentino, this is the perfect opportunity to discover the authentic charm of the mountains in autumn.

A Journey Through Time Between History and Legend

At the center of the event, the much-anticipated return of the witch Brava Part, a symbolic figure that leads the grand historical parade in a captivating procession starting from the locality of Costa and arriving in the heart of Folgaria. Legend has it that the witch, protector of the mountains and its people, returns every year to bless the end of summer and greet the arrival of autumn.

Over 1,000 performers in period costumes will bring a spectacular reenactment to life: farmers, lumberjacks, shepherds, artisans, and many other characters will animate the village with scenes of daily life from the past. The floats, skillfully decorated by the inhabitants of each fraction, tell the story of ancient crafts, while folk bands, alpine choirs, and traditional musicians will fill the air with engaging melodies.

Two Days of Celebration Between Tradition, Taste, and Fun for the Whole Family

If you are looking for mountain events for families, The Brava Part is the perfect opportunity to spend a weekend amidst nature, history, and fun. Throughout the weekend, the town will transform into a vibrant open-air stage, featuring:

  • Craft markets, where you can discover local products, wooden handmade items, traditional fabrics, and objects from alpine culture.
  • Creative workshops, for adults and children, to learn ancient processing techniques and crafts.
  • Games from the past, to rediscover the simple and genuine fun of yesteryear.
  • Guided excursions, ideal for families, to explore the enchanting landscape of Alpe Cimbra among woods, pastures, and breathtaking views.
  • Food stands, featuring the authentic flavors of Trentino tradition: steaming polenta, mountain cheeses, canederli, strudel, and artisanal grappa.
  • Parade of the Folgaria Folk Band

An Authentic Experience Among Autumn Mountain Events

The Brava Part is more than a festival: it is a unique opportunity to experience the mountains in all their authenticity, feel the warmth of Trentino hospitality, and let yourself be carried away by the energy of an event that knows how to move both young and old.

If you are looking for autumn events in Trentino, The Brava Part represents a perfect fusion of tradition and nature, ideal for those who love genuine and engaging experiences.

Whether you are a history lover, a folklore enthusiast, or simply seeking a different experience, mark September 26 and 27, 2026 on your calendar for your appointment with the magic of alpine traditions.
