Castel Bragher, immersed in the forest like a fairy tale, does not offer a single perspective. The most immediate and well-known is certainly the view of the main entrance and the side facade, easily visible from the old connecting road between Coredo and Taio. But not everyone knows the secret side of the castle, a more hidden and intimate viewpoint, a glimpse that reveals its inner courtyard and allows one to imagine centuries of life. In a dense undergrowth and among countless Scots pines where in late autumn splendid bunches of mistletoe dominate reminding us of the arrival of Christmas, here in an area characterized suddenly by suggestive reddish and rocky soil, stand three panoramic terraces that allow this unexpected view.
Surrounded by silence and if we are lucky the company of unusual birds, we find ourselves at the end of Bosco Orna, and observe before us this magnificent panorama. Close to the village of Coredo, reached here through a simple walk of just over an hour, but at the same time immersed in the tranquility and peace that only the woods can offer, we also glimpse a small biotope where, with heavy rains, an unexpected water mirror can appear. Arriving shortly after dawn or before sunset, we are not alone: the chirping of birds, the run among the trees of some squirrels and with a bit of luck shy roe deer in search of some shoots to nibble on.
Not only nature but also art distinguish Bosco Orna. Indeed, we notice a unique bronze sculpture, the work of the sculptor Claudio Trevi, and just below the Bragherino - which for a period was his house studio - a farmhouse where once lived the castle guards and servants, once owned by Castel Bragher, now private. To enjoy all this you only need a bit of curiosity, and the desire to enter into close contact with nature for a few hours.

In the center of the village of Coredo, where we start our excursion, there is the Hotel Ristorante Sport offering tasty menus for all tastes; dishes ranging from typical to traditional, where the chef chooses only zero km and seasonal raw materials, therefore local vegetables and native game.
If you wish to enjoy your meal immersed again in nature, you can choose the Due Laghi Restaurant where you will be amazed by the flavor and simplicity of the dishes, as well as by the genuineness of the products and preparations.
A stone's throw away we find Agritur Agostini that with simple and natural ingredients offers appetizing traditional dishes typical of Trentino and Val di Non, and for those who still have the energy, why not take advantage of a nice ride at the family riding school?
With the typical Trentino Osteria and Slow Food Osteria brand, here is the Ristorante alla Pineta, which offers creative and refined menus, linked to the seasonal cycle and the rich local gastronomic tradition.
Panorama
As you move from the center of the village of Coredo towards the pine forest, turning around behind us we can admire in the distance the splendor of the mountains and much of the extension of the Val di Non... from Paganella to Monte Peller, passing through the Brenta Dolomites ... in this area we find the Miraval Hotel, which not by chance dedicates its name to the panorama you can enjoy from up here.

Safety information
As you can imagine, the passability of itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to contingent conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before leaving, check the status of the path by contacting the refuge managers on your route, alpine guides, nature park visitor centers, and tourist offices.Tips and suggestions
Did you know that the “Rouroni” biotope of Bosco Orna is not the only one characterizing this area; in the pine forest between Coredo and Tavon we also find the “Senda” biotope, a pond with always clean waters because purified by the aquatic plants that grow spontaneously. Little known and located in the lower part of the village, on the border between forest and countryside, there is also the “Ciane” biotope.Roadbook
Starting from the square of Coredo, take Via Tonidandel passing in front of the former library, then turn right onto Via Trento, and continue to the left on Via Borgonuovo staying on the main road among the five branches that the street has. Continuing straight ahead, follow the sign for the Biotope Rouroni which leads to the Orna Forest. At a certain point, the landscape changes from apple fields to a wooded area rich in undergrowth and many Scots pines. The paved road continues to the end of the forest. A sign indicates the way to Bragherino, a farmhouse where once the castle guards and servants lived, formerly owned by Castel Bragher, now private. Continuing on the left there is the chance to enter a small but suggestive biotope (Biotope Rouroni) in which when it rains heavily a natural pond forms. The undergrowth in this area is particularly clean. The further you go, the more the terrain becomes reddish and rocky until you reach a panoramic area where balconies have been built to admire Castel Bragher from above. If you continue for about fifty meters you find a unique bronze sculpture, the work of the sculptor Claudio Trevi, and just below the Bragherino, which for a while was his house-studio. To return, it is necessary to retrace the same path as before.
It is also walkable with a stroller.
