Circular route with panoramic views in the Stelvio National Park.
A moderately difficult trail that traverses the wooded slopes of the Val del Monte, above Peio Fonti.The hike offers several panoramic views and is suitable for families with children due to the presence of animals (but strollers are not permitted!), while still allowing for a 700-meter elevation gain. The route is <b>culturally and historically significant</b>, featuring ancient larches, charcoal kilns, and a cheese dairy. It also has <b>geological significance</b>, highlighted by several explanatory panels, and <b>botanically significant</b>, due to the presence of numerous rare species and fauna, including marmots and mouflons.
