The Zéna Poréta – The humble candlelit dinner

The most authentic event of the winter holidays in Alpe Cimbra is back: The Zéna Poréta, the famous “humble dinner” by candlelight, which has become a symbol of community, memory, and tradition over the years.
This evening is born from the desire to remember the simplicity and warmth of the “old days”, when families gathered around the table to share a modest meal prepared with care, with genuine ingredients and a strong desire to be together.
It was a moment of reflection and gratitude, where food was not abundance, but a gesture of love and sharing.
Today, the Zéna Poréta brings back that authentic spirit, inviting everyone to turn off the lights for one evening and let themselves be illuminated only by candles and smiles, enjoying dishes that tell the story and roots of our mountain.
Traditional menu:
- Pasta e fasòi
- Pan, formai nostran
- Potato polenta
- Capusi en salata
- Strudel
- Vin contadin and Lavaròn water
In memory of a special dinner, you can keep the bowl, the glass, and the ladle that will be given to you to enjoy the dinner
To enrich the atmosphere, there will be live music, for an even more engaging and evocative experience.
