In Campitello, from 11 p.m. to 2.30 a.m., DJ Francesco Fontes sets the pace. Free entry, an electric atmosphere and a selection of disco music guaranteed to get everyone - absolutely everyone - dancing. A long-standing New Year's Eve favourite in Val di Fassa, Fontes brings that unmistakable energy that turns the square into a huge dance floor under the stars. And the first day of the year? It starts slow and soft, like the intro to a new melody. A Ladin breakfast: a fluffy krapfen, filled with jam or cream, a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and a touch of cinnamon. Then the rhythm rises again: you fasten your boots, take the brand-new Col Rodella cable car up to the Sellaronda, and let the Dolomites - vast, bright and spectacular - set the tempo for your first ski run of 2026.
