Thanks to the combined efforts of the Alpini, the local music band, volunteer firefighters, the parish council, and numerous volunteers, La Terza de Lui comes to life as a true community project, where different generations collaborate and reconnect. The festival also opens its doors to visitors, offering a unique opportunity to discover the territory, its traditions, and the culinary and wine excellence of Trentino, all in a warm and genuine setting.
The event also features a variety of creative and educational activities, designed to engage children and families and make the celebration even more interactive and family-friendly. These include creative workshops, where participants can make crafts inspired by the history and symbols of the festival such as drawings, decorations, and small traditional objects; art workshops, with painting, coloring, and expressive activities connected to the Trentino culture and territory; traditional games, rediscovering old-time pastimes and encouraging socialization and outdoor play; educational activities, with simplified storytelling about the history of La Terza de Lui and local traditions; and music workshops, introducing participants to music and instruments in collaboration with the local band. These activities help pass on the cultural identity of Calavino to new generations, further enhancing the social and community value of the event.
