Frà Dolcino

A few hundred meters from the Storo crossroads, in the Sorino hamlet near Condino, stands the Locanda Borgo Antico, a handful of farmsteads that seem to emerge from a fairy tale. The Locanda Borgo Antico - named after the hamlet - includes a typical tavern named "Osteria Fra' Dolcino". The Locanda boasts rooms with vaulted ceilings, a terracotta cellar, rooms and lounges with ceramic stoves. The small inn, which was once used to dry the hay, is very comfortable, just how an inn with 5 rooms should be. The osteria is full of details that soften the sober Trentino architecture: wicker chairs, lamps enriched with laces, windows with embroidered curtains and lots of hospitality. Hidden underground is the excellent wine cellar, a wonderful place to savour fine wines along with Trentino cold cuts and Storo polenta: a really sublime pleasure. Let yourself be charmed by a village in which total silence still rules along with the good "old-time hospitality", where tradition, good food and kindness go hand in hand with innovation, elegance and quality.
