Imèr
The gateway to Valle del Primiero, a balcony over the Dolomites
In the Primiero basin, a small town that welcomes you in all seasons, in a unique natural environment overlooking the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site
The village of Imèr is the gateway to the Dolomites. From this small town - the inhabitants are just over 1,200 - the gaze widens over the Pale di San Martino, their spiers, pinnacles and towers. It is the ideal starting point for hiking trails, whether on foot or by bike. The walls are perfect for epic climbing, the valley floor for cross-country skiing, and the waterways are excellent for canyoning and fishing.
Imèr, located inside the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park, has a green soul. It is part of the Bike Sharing Primiero circuit, and both in the centre and in the surrounding area you will find columns for charging e-bikes and electric cars.
Do not miss the KnödelFest, a festival of colours and flavours, which is usually held on the first weekend of September.
