For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before setting out, check the status of the route by contacting the refuge managers along your route, mountain guides, visitor centers of natural parks, and tourist offices.Roadbook
This route starts from the Sanctuary of San Romedio. Remember that the sanctuary can be reached by car or through beautiful walks from various locations in the Val di Non, which you can find here.
From the sanctuary, continue on a slight uphill along the forest road that starts in front of the sanctuary entrance gate.
Further ahead, avoid turning left along the forest road marked with trail sign 537 that leads into the Verdes valley. Instead, ascend through the woods toward the lakes (Coredo and Tavon) and reach a fork (marked by a wooden bench and a beautiful wooden crucifix) located at about 825m elevation.
Here, leave the forest road and turn left following the signs for Coredo, Tavon Lakes – Coredo. The path passes one last rise and reaches a forest road running beside the small lakes. You can do the lakes loop clockwise or counterclockwise according to preference.
Return to the starting point by retracing the ascent path.
