Valimpach Waterfalls
Simple route suitable for everyone with a one-way walk of about 2 km and a difference in height of 50m
Located on the right orographic side of the Val di Centa upstream of the Molino del Cleccheri, the Valimpach waterfalls give rise to a highly scenographic and still almost intact place. Their origin is due to the arrival in the Valimpach valley of the waters of the underground emissary of the karst lake of Lavarone. The waters descend from the vertical rocky walls with jumps of tens of meters, forming travertine concretions adhering to the rock and giving rise in the less steep stretch to a series of small lakes shaded by dense vegetation. The base of the waterfalls can be reached with a comfortable and flat walk (about 2 km and 30 min from the Speck Stube car park) along the riverbed to Molino del Cleccheri and from here on with the equipped path SAT E218 Via ferrata del Valimpach (only for expert and equipped hikers).
