    Safety information

As you can imagine, the traversability of routes in a mountain environment is strictly linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before setting out, check the status of the route by contacting the refuge managers on your route, mountain guides, natural park visitor centers, and tourist offices.

    Roadbook

From the town of Cles or Tuenno, you reach Loc. Lake Durigat via a long dirt road for which no circulation permit is required. Near this small lake, it is possible to leave your vehicle. From Lake Durigat, take the dirt road SAT 313 up to the foot of Rifugio Peller where you can enjoy excellent typical dishes. Continue on the same dirt road towards Malga Clesera and shortly after the hut, on the left, starts trail SAT 308 which climbs the northern side of Monte Peller up to Lake delle Salare. From here, follow the signs to the nearby Forcola Pass from which you enjoy a wide panorama over the green Pian della Nana. From the pass, gently descend along trail SAT 336 to the nearby Malga Tassulla where you can buy excellent mountain cheese. Finally, continuing downhill along dirt road SAT 336, you reach your car at Lake Dorigat.

    Directions

From Cles, proceed to the upper part of the town following signs for Loc. Bersaglio - Rifugio Peller. At Loc. Bersaglio, turn right and follow the dirt road with short paved sections for 15 km that leads to Lake Durigat at the base of Monte Peller. To drive this dirt road, you need a jeep-type vehicle or one with relatively high ground clearance because in some sections the road is rough and steep.

    Parking

Near Lake Durigat there are 3 free parking areas where you can leave your car for several days. The first parking lot is located at Lake Durigat and has a capacity of 25 parking spaces.

To reach the second parking lot, continue uphill from here to the left towards Malga Tassulla until the no entry sign: here there is another parking lot with 30 parking spaces.

The third parking lot is reached by continuing uphill from Lake Durigat to the right towards Rifugio Peller. Below the hut there is a small parking lot with 10 parking spaces.
