The Sentiero dei Vecchi Mestieri – from Grumes
<p>The rediscovery of the rural history of the valley with its “water machines” along the Rio dei Molini between Grumes and Grauno</p>
<p>The Rio dei Molini valley between Grumes and Grauno was once the centre of intense artisanal activity linked to water power: it housed over 20 water machines including mills, sawmills and forges. Today, the Sentiero dei Vecchi Mestieri allows us to rediscover this world, offering unforgettable suggestions of a unique environmental and historical landscape.</p> <p>The route runs transversally to the Avisio Valley and is divided into two parts: the first part, of historical-ethnographic relevance, is situated along the rio Molino between Grumes and Grauno; the second part, mostly of environmental interest, starts from the new bridge on the Avisio between Grumes and Sover and reaches the settlement of Piscine.</p>
