Easy walk on the northern shore of Lake Ledro, through the villages of Pieve and Mezzolago to the Pile-Dwelling Museum of Lake Ledro.

Lake Ledro is among the most beautiful and cleanest of Trentino and it stands out for its turquoise blue colour. A few numbers… Depth: 48 m. Surface: 2.187 km². Altitude: 655 m. Length E-W: about 3 km. Summer maximum temperature: between 25° and 28°. In 1929 the construction of the hydroelectric power plant in Riva del Garda was completed. With the partial lowering of the water level, 10.000 poles from the Bronze Age came to light. So began the history of the Pile-Dwelling Museum of Lake Ledro, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Roadbook

At the roundabout turn right into Via Alzer. Proceed for a 100 metres and take Viale Foletto to the left. Walk by the lake crossing the beach and take the walking path towards Mezzolago. At Hotel Mezzolago cross the main road and turn into Via San Michele. Turn right into Via Belvedere and walk along it until it joins the main road. Cross it and take the walking path leading to the beach of Molina and the Pile-Dwelling Museum of Lake Ledro.
