One of the most loved routes in every season. The loop passes by four mountain huts and has very gentle slopes. There are panoramic views of the wild Maddalene group and a warm welcome for a delicious break at the hut.

Wonderful hike in the heart of the Maddalene Group without any technical difficulty. All the mountain huts encountered along this route deserve a stop for the warm welcome and excellent cuisine they offer, even on winter weekends.

    Safety information

As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to the current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before leaving, check the status of the route by contacting the hut managers on your route, mountain guides, visitor centers of natural parks, and tourist offices.

    Roadbook

From the parking lot, take the obvious forest road that climbs through the woods until you meet trail marker no. 28, which shortly reaches the welcoming Malga di Lauregno. Now follow the SAT 114 / AVS 26 trail markers that continue almost flat until it emerges onto the very wide clearing called Pra del Signor, where you take the wide forest road SAT 157 that climbs from the village of Castelfondo to reach Malga Castrin.

After a break at the hut, descend along the same forest road and shortly after the wooden fence take the obvious path on the right through the meadows leading to a crossroads. Keep to the right following the SAT 133 signs to Malga di Cloz and Revò. After a steep start, the path levels out and crosses the southern slope of Monte Cornicolo among rhododendrons. Continue always along the SAT 133 trail that at some point descends, connects to trail no. 11, and in a few minutes reaches the hospitable Malga di Revò. Now follow the flat forest road marked no. 8 that leads to the nearby Malga di Cloz and finally to the parking near the tunnels.
