MOENA - PRATO DI SORTE - MOENA
Walks
From "Piaz de Sotegrava" you walk towards the San Vigilio’s Church, along "Strada C. Dellantonio" first and "Troi de Sèn Vile" then, a narrow alleyway closed to traffic. Once passed the church and the parking areas, you turn left and walk along a comfortable asphalt road that cuts the meadows called "Prato di Sorte" ("Pra de Sort"). After a long flat stretch, the road fast descends towards the industrial estate of Moena. At the crossroad, you turn right into Strada de Prealon and, shortly after, you arrive at the football field "C. Benatti". Here you cross the main road and walk along the cycling route, in direction of Predazzo. Right after the last buildings on the right, you turn left, cross the bridge on the "Avisio" river and turn left again. Leave the cycling route, part of the Marcialonga racetrack, the popular cross-country ski marathon, to walk back to Moena. Along an easy dirt road, you get into the wood and walk along the course of the "Avisio" river. Leave the wood, keeping the right, and after an easy climb you keep on walking until you reach the asphalt road called "Strada de le Pegne". Cross the street, walk along the road which passes nearby the playground and leads to the "Navalge" area. Cross the road that comes from the San Pellegrino Pass and, along the street called "L Vial", you get back to the starting point in "Piaz de Sotegrava".
