Monte Gazza: view of the 4 lakes
Spectacular route on Monte Gazza with a view over the Valle dei Laghi to Lake Garda
This medium difficulty route is perhaps one of the most spectacular in the whole valley: from the summit of Monte Gazza you can see not only the four lakes below, but also the Brenta Dolomites. The first part of the route leads through the wood above the village of Margone and then overlooks the meadows used for grazing near Malga Gazza. From here you continue through picture-postcard alpine scenery, with the Dolomites on one side and the Valle dei Laghi on the other. Once you have reached the highest point (1830 m.a.s.l.), near the cross of Monte Ranzo, you begin the descent to Malga Bael and then end the route by returning to the village of Margone.
