Monte - Malga Kraun refuge (SAT footpaths 500-507)
A lovely, gentle walk, also suitable for children, largely on forest tracks from Monte di Mezzocorona to the Rifugio Malga Kraun (not open all year round). Take the short detour on the last stretch of the walk (the Magia del Bosco (Magic of the Woods), a permanent trail) to discover the splendid wood sculptures and the ancient silver fir known as the Candelabra.
