<p>The itinerary “from the wood to home” is meant to be a full immersion into the amazing world of wood. Walking on the paths around Grumes we will try to discover together the relationship which since millennia connects people and the wood ecosystem, meant as the environment we need to relate well to as well as an essential economic resource especially for the populations of the Alps. This strong relationship has created multiple artisan workers (woodworker, carpenter, woodcutter) who knew how to use the different types of wood depending on their final use.</p> <p>Several interesting points are on this way: the water driven sawmill, the wood ecosystem, the historical chestnut wood, the modern sawmills and joineries to Green Grill – Info e Sapori (Info and Taste), the house of Rete di Riserve (Reserves Network) fully built with wood.</p>
