Het hotel bevindt zich in de plaats Bellamonte (Mt. 1372), op 5 km van het centrum van Predazzo. Het is omgeven door de Lagorai-keten en de Pale di San Martino-groep. De ligging is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis in de zomer voor wandelingen en bergtochten of in het Paneveggio Park. Terwijl in de winter de skigebieden gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn (gratis skibusdienst met een halte voor het hotel): Alpe Lusia, Ski Center Latemar Obereggen, Alpe Cemis, Passo Rolle en Passo Valles.
Het hotel wordt al meer dan honderd jaar rechtstreeks beheerd en gemanaged door de familie VARESCO.
In de nabijheid van het hotel is er een ethnografisch museum dat wordt beheerd door de eigenaar Rinaldo.
Er tegenover bevindt zich een winkel voor sportartikelen-souvenirs.
Van eind juni tot begin september is er vier dagen per week een gratis shuttlebus naar het centrum van Predazzo, de skiliften en het bezoekerscentrum van het Paneveggio Natuurpark.
