Monte Mulaz Tour

Hike around the majestic Mount Mulaz trough stunning Dolomites scenery 

This tour circumnavigates the majestic Monte Mulaz, in the Pale di San Martino Group, and is sparsely frequented, despite being one of the most fascinating itineraries in all the Dolomites. The route initially winds its way up the emerald green Val Venegia, which soon offers breathtaking views of the vertical walls of Cimon della Pala, Cima Vezzana and Bureloni. It then climbs uphill to the foot of the majestic huge Dolomite walls of the Campanile di Valgrande and Cima Focobon, near Passo di Mulaz. After touching Rifugio Volpi al Mulaz, the last stretch of this circular route passes beneath the green Cima Venegiota, where there’s a pass back into the Val Venegia. An immensely rewarding itinerary for skilled trekkers. From Rifugio Volpi al Mulaz hut you can climb to the incredible summit of Monte Mulaz ( 2903 m ), a scenic balcony offering unique views; this stretch, however, requires careful treading and a good mountain trekking experience.
