From the Contrin Refuge (2,016 m), go down along the road that goes across the Val Contrin (path no. 602), till you almost get to the valley bottom. Just before reaching the village of Penìa di Canazei, turn right (no. 602/A), to take soon the path no. 605, which flanks the course of the stream "Avisio". The path crosses the state road in several points, till you get on a wide dirt road that leads to the hotel Villetta Maria at "Pian Trevisan" (1,648 m). Enter the wood on the right and, going on on path no. 605, reach the Fedaia Pass (2,044 m), where the overnight stay is scheduled.
