Hidden Treasures: The secrets of river Sarca
<p>An easy walk for families and nature lovers which follows the course of the River Sarca between the bridges of Ceniga and Arco, also <strong>suitable for baby buggies</strong>.</p>
<p>The Sarca (which is a feminine name in Italian) is one of the major rivers in Trentino: fed by springs in the Adamello, it passes through south-western Trentino for 80 km before flowing into Lake Garda. Its course is now protected by the <strong>Sarca River Park</strong>, with the intention of conserving and making the most of an environment with particular characteristics. Along the cycle path on the east bank there are a number of information panels with details about the river and its particular natural environments.</p> <p>This itinerary runs along both sides of the River Sarca. <strong>The river is the focus of the trail, and accompanies you all the way</strong>. Throughout history, in fact, the River Sarca has been settled, crossed, exploited in a number of different ways: this trail wants to give homage to the river and its central importance. And let's not forget that the River Sarca is above all an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation in natural surroundings for those who stroll along its banks.</p>
