This circular route touches all the villages in the northern area of Val di Non and crosses the vast meadows overlooking the rocky peaks of the Brenta Dolomites. This route follows the Val di Non Bike race but can be tackled by everyone if planned as a whole day route, scheduling appropriate breaks in the many villages and scenic spots along the way.

All the villages with their bars and ice cream shops are a great excuse to take a break!

In the starting village of the route, Cavareno, there is the E-Max e-bike rental.

Roadbook

Starting from Cavareno, you enter the forest climbing towards Ruffré. You pass near the Monte Nock chairlift and then proceed through the forest to the state road, then through the forest to Ronzone and cross beyond the state road. Here you enter the forest and head towards Fondo, emerging at Lake Smeraldo. From here, through a suggestive gorge, you reach the village and once crossed, an extensive meadow opens with a long cycle path on the Sarnonico plateau with the Brenta Dolomites in the background. Continuing long on the cycle path you reach Romeno, where you pass on the east side of the state road and, passing through the woods of Don and Amblar and among the villages, you return to Cavareno.

Directions

From the Trento Nord exit of the A22 motorway, take state road SS43 towards Val di Non and Val di Sole. Upon reaching the Dermulo junction, keep right to climb SS42 towards Passo della Mendola until you reach the village of Cavareno.
