Tour of Monte Mezzana
A hike suitable for everyone in the woods of Monte Mezzana, between the villages of Terlago and Covelo.
The walk to Monte Mezzana starts at the 'Lagostel' fishing pond and runs for 6.5 km on a mixture of forest road and path. The route does not present any particular difficulties and the altitude gain is fairly gentle. During the hike, you are always in a forest, so there’s a good chance of spotting animals such as roe deer, squirrels and badgers. The road is very easy to follow and well-signposted.

A hike suitable for everyone, through the woods on Monte Mezzana, between the villages of Terlago and Covelo.
The walk to Monte Mezzana starts in Covelo and continues over a gentle climb alternating a forest path and track.
A good part of the route will take you though a wood of broad-leaved trees (oak, hornbeam, maple, poplar, birch, etc.), which give the woods a foliage that varies with every season, offering shelter to a range of animal species, including red and roe deer, foxes, badgers, squirrels and many types of bird.

From the centre of Covelo, continue along Via Villa Bassa and turn left into Via per Cadenis. Then cross the provincial road and continue along the narrow asphalt-covered road on the other side. At the end of the asphalted section, you will come to a fork: take the left onto the forest road flanking Mount Mezzana. The uphill section will end after around 2 km and you will then begin to descend along a trail towards the state road. Take the cycle path on the right and after a few metres, turn right onto a dirt road in the direction of Covelo. The last section covers a part of the outward route.
