Easy walk between nature, history and culture to the panoramic point "Rocchetta"
<p>The Rocchetta is a small headland just 700 meters asl located south of the town of Borgo Valsugana in Trentino.</p> <p>Together with Mount Ciolino, it has always been a natural barrier in the middle of the Valsugana valley and for this reason even during WWI it has worked as observation point for both parties, Italian and Austrian.</p> <p>The historic site of Rocchetta, open all year with free admission, can be reached by car, bike and bus in just 5 minutes from Borgo Valsugana, following the signs for Val di Sella and at km 4 taking the right towards "Vivaio San Giorgio"". You can also reach the destination on foot along recently restored paths and trails.</p>
