1 - Giro del Santuario e del biotopo di Ecken
A relaxing and oxygenating route, recommended for everyone, families with children (even with pushchairs) and budding bikers who want to experience their first thrill on a mountain bike. It allows visits to the 18th-century Maso Spilzi, the golf course, the Ecken biotope (protected nature area) and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie (16th century).
Various aspects and points of interest are encountered here. The naturalistic aspect, given by the Ecken biotope, the relict of an ancient lake of glacial-karst origin and as such included among the Trentino wetlands worthy of protection; the sporting aspect, given by the 18-hole golf course; the historical aspect, given by the 18th-century Maso Spilzi, a mysterious fortified farmstead, and the religious aspect, represented by the 16th-century Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie, where the miraculous Madonnina, patron saint of Italian skiers, is kept.
