The Festival dell’Economia returns to Trento
From 2 to 5 June, Trento is turning orange
Trento is once again hosting the Festival dell’Economia this year; now in its 17th edition, it has a broader programme than ever to offer. These four unmissable days from 2 to 5 June will include the participation of 8 Nobel Laureates, 11 government ministers, and over 75 speakers from the world of academics, economics and business.
“After the pandemic, ORDER AND DISORDER” is the theme chosen for this year, providing the starting point for an interesting and stimulating debate between the most brilliant minds from the world of science, key opinion leaders, and prominent experts from a wide range of disciplines. A broader Festival
Alongside the official programme, Trento’s Festival dell’Economia has a new format that also offers lots of additional events!
The Fuori Festival, a brand-new feature for this 17th edition, will involve a range of activities for young people and students and entertainment for families, among lots of other things. It promises to be an amazing celebration in its own right, with a parallel schedule of events focusing on the concept of “CREATING THE FUTURE”, designed to appeal to younger generations in particular.
Highlights will include meetings with famous names from the world of music and art (Mahmood, Coma_Cose and the singer HU, among others), as well as live performances featuring the magical sound of a Stradivarius violin and a concert conducted by M. Salvatore Accardo. And let’s not forget the lighter side of entertainment, thanks to comedians from the TV show Zelig.
The “Economie dei Territori” (Local Economies) programme will involve a series of initiatives managed by the relevant local bodies in Trentino, to investigate the dynamics of local development, research and innovation, as well as models for the transformation of socio-economic relations.
Finally, a world of books will add magic to the days of the Festival dell'Economia, with “Incontri con l'autore” (Meetings with the Author) events being held in the Courtyard of Palazzo Thun, the Biblioteca Comunale public library, and at the bookshop specially set up in the city centre.
That makes for a lot of unmissable events!
