The World Wellness Weekend comes to Trentino

How are you?’ ‘I’m well!’ We’ve all given that answer at times without really thinking about it, but true wellness is as elusive as it is enticing. Luckily, there are professional people and special occasions that can help us in our attempts to find wellness within ourselves, in our bodies, our minds and our relationships.

World Wellness Weekend

For a number of years, wellness professionals in the hospitality, fitness and spa sectors have opened their doors to host an enormous event that unites over 4,000 venues in 140 different countries all over the world for a special weekend. It’s called the World Wellness Weekend, and this year it will be held from 16 to 18 September, with the beautiful Val di Fiemme in Trentino taking part.

The date has not been chosen at random but for its proximity to the equinox, when day and night are equal in length, in the hope of finding a similar balance between work and free time in our own lives. The letters WWW, as the event is also known, can be turned upside down to resemble a stylised skyline of mountain peaks and valleys. In our territory, this will be the exact backdrop for these special days dedicated to wellness.
