Cima d'Arzon
A simple yet exciting itinerary that leads to one of the many panoramic peaks of the Pale di San Martino Dolomites and on to the Lagorai mountain chain proper. You climb up through the area of the spectacular Calaita Lake (at 1,600 m a.s.l.) and continue in the direction of Forcella Valsorda. You then cross a number of slopes that lead to the Forcella d’Arzon. You then reach the lower peak and, not much further on, the true summit.
Monte Sole
This alpine ski course is a relatively easy one with a vertical drop of less than a thousand metres. It’s a popular tour amongst alpine skiers and regarded as one of the safest thanks to its moderate gradients. Almost all of the route is shared with the nearby, but more elevated, Monte Villar run.
Cornetto di Folgaria
This route, recently re-established along the legendary ski slope that was decommissioned in 1966, is perfect for ski-mountaineering. The itinerary is exposed to the north and north-east and the snow tends to last. Once you reach an elevation of 1,700 metres, the panorama will literally take your breath away.
Val Gelada
This classic alpine ski trail in Val Rendena is the most beaten track of all in Madonna di Campiglio. An absolute must for every alpine skier thanks to its sunny aspect, smooth slopes with little vegetation and excellent year-round sign-posting.
