AUTUMN 2022 - Autumn is the season that, among all others, plays with our senses. It is made up of intense colours, inebriating aromas and strong flavours. It is the season of foliage, of the smell of mushrooms and of rain-soaked earth. It is the season of apples and wine. It is a season to be enjoyed at a slow pace, treasuring every moment.

For this reason, we have selected 15 experiences that you can enjoy in Trentino this autumn, among luxuriant woods, Alpine villages and lakes embraced by the Dolomites. From the crests of Val di Sole to Valsugana, from Val di Fassa to the shores of Lake Garda.

In the Violins’ Forest, on the trail of the deer

A guided excursion to the Paneveggio fir forest, in Val di Fiemme: these are the trees that Stradivari used to make his violins. Among the Val di Non apple orchards

Autumn in Val di Non smells of apples! Among the events, don’t miss “Pomaria, the harvest festival”, in Casez, on 15 and 16 October, with its rich programme of events, gatherings and tastings. Or, take part in the “Adopt an apple tree” initiative, namely: in the spring you visit the farm and choose your apple tree and in the autumn you come back to pick the fruits. A way to experience the harvest firsthand.

#6

In the vineyards to pick grapes

Autumn is also the harvest season: grapes are ready to be harvested and taken to the cellar, to kick off winemaking. You can try this experience with funnel and scissors in your hands, on the terraced vineyards of Val di Cembra, followed by a tasty picnic under pergolas.

#7

Speaking of wine, how about a winery tour, followed by a tasting in the company of experts? Here, countless wineries offer tasting experiences, often enriched by events like concerts, workshops and guided treks.
