In the amphitheater of the wild Val D'Ambiez, the refuge “Al Cacciatore” is the first one you meet as soon as you leave the narrow but suggestive valley that rises from “San Lorenzo in Banale”. The refuge, at 1,820 meters above sea level, is surrounded by green pastures and by majestic peaks.
Reachable on foot for hikers who want discover the most suggestive glimpses of the route, with e-bike for those looking for verticality or with the adventurous taxi-jeep service (this service is paid and provided by third parties, contact us for any information), our refuge is an excellent point of arrival to relax enjoying the amazing panorama, take peaceful excursions or simply taste typical dishes and homemade desserts; or departure for those who decide to take advantage of the smart position and then resume from there its path.

We are Mirko and Ierta and for the second year we will manage “Al Cacciatore” refuge.
In this new adventure we will be accompanied by our children and supported by our family. We are from the village and the “Val d'Ambiez” has always been for us one of those places that we feel ours.
The passion for the mountains, the knowledge of the area and the desire to get involved have pushed us to embark on this new experience.
We hope to be able to convey to all our guests the same emotions that this beautiful place manages to convey to us.

Conditions
To confirm the reservation we ask for the payment (within 5 days) of a deposit equal to 30% of the total, once you pay the whole amount, we'll take the deposit off the bill.
You can specify in the description "Deposit (LAST NAME - NAME - DATE)" so that we can recognize your payment immediately.
In case of cancellation the deposit will be refunded only if the communication takes place up to one week before the reservation.

Arrival
From San Lorenzo in Banale continue for 3 kilometres on the paved road to the parking in the Baesa locality (Cafe' Restaurant Dolomiti), where you take the mule track on foot( path n. 325) and in 2 and a half hours walk, you reach the refuge (difficulty E). threre is a paid taxi service provided by third parties, that takes you to the refuge. For any information call the property.

The refuge has 25 beds divided into rooms of 2,4,5 and 6. When booking, let us know if you have preferences and we will try to accomodate you, based on available places.
Ours are new bunk beds, with wooden slats.
To make the overnight stay more comfortable included in the price there are: sheets, pillow with pillowcase, duvet and duvet cover.
We remind you some simple things:
