Trento Riding Sports Group
Trento-based Gruppo Sportivo di Equitazione is a special riding organization that performs a highly social-oriented activity. Thanks to the commitment of a large group of voluntaries, including numerous young people, the disabled as well as the socially vulnerable are offered the chance to approach horse-riding, whose beneficial effects on the psycho-physical domain are well known. The Group's ordinary activities include tours where the disabled are guided on horseback, or taken for carriage rides. It also features riding school practice for the general public, short- and medium-distance outings to various destinations along the banks of River Adige, in the Sardagna area, to Monte Bondone foothills and all the way to Malga Brigolina.
Two gigs pulled by donkeys are used for taking disabled kids for rides or for the performance of educational and entertainment projects at kindergartens and primary-schools.
