Climbing to Lessinia
An interesting tour from Rovereto to discover the Lessinia Plateau.
<p>After an initial flat and bucolic stretch following the river Adige, you reach Ala where, just beyond the small church of <a href="https://www.visitrovereto.it/en/discover/churches-and-sacred-places/the-church-of-san-pietro-in-bosco/">San Pietro in Bosco</a>, the road to Sega di Ala begins. Along the way, a glimpse of the <a href="https://www.visitrovereto.it/en/discover/castles/avio-castle/">Sabbionara d'Avio Castle</a> will give you the opportunity to stop for a while, while near Malga Riondera, where the climb gives a little respite, you can stop to catch your breath and admire the view over the Vallagarina. Then back on the saddle and off to Passo Fittanze! The climb is difficult, especially due to the challenging slope in some sections, but the satisfaction on arrival is great! Arrived in Peri, the return is made again along the bike path, up to the starting point. The Lessinia plateau, with its uncontaminated nature, will enter your heart ... you will surely return to explore it along its many paths, on foot, by Mountain Bike or with snowshoes, or to visit the places linked to the memory of the Great War</p>
