The Camino is well marked, with the presence of the stylized yellow shell symbol and various signs indicating the way. It follows ancient connecting trails between small villages and old roads that led to the Sanctuaries, pilgrimage destinations. There are short stretches of low traffic roads.
As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before leaving, check the status of the route by contacting the refuge managers on your route, alpine guides, park visitor centers, and tourist offices.
Tips and suggestions
Roadbook
Arriving at Tret, after passing the last houses of the village, the road becomes dirt and splits into two country paths: to the right you reach the upper viewpoint, while to the left, the lower viewpoint at the base of the waterfall. The left path that descends to the foot of the waterfall first skirts meadows, then crosses a fir forest until reaching a small clearing. From here the trail descends quickly with a series of steps and then following a flat path you arrive at the base of the waterfall. A wooden bridge è is the ideal spot to admire this wonderful waterfall which has a drop of seventy meters and incredible power when the stream is in flood. Continuing on the trail, which first skirts the overhanging rock downwards, then begins to climb through the woods until it rejoins the direct path coming from Tret.

Equipment
Anyone who sets out and wants to reach their destination without problems should wear a good pair of comfortable shoes, preferably with a lug sole (like Vibram) and with ankle protection (like hiking boots), but which hold the foot firmly to avoid blisters or, worse, risk a sprain. È It is also advisable to have a stick (or better yet telescopic poles) to help on the walk, especially in some more demanding sections.
