On the Lessinia Plateau: from Busoni to Passo della morte

<p>The Vallgarina was once a border land, here many battles were fought during the Frist World War and there are many testimonies left on the territory that still remind us of these events. In Rovereto, in the castle, you can find the <a href="https://www.visitrovereto.it/en/discover/museums/italian-war-history-museum/">Italian War History Museum</a>, founded in 1921, where you can discover objects and photographs, weapons, uniforms, trench warfare materials, documents and posters in one of the main Italian institutions dedicated to the First War world. <br/>Also in Lessinia you can find some signs of the passage of history: at the Busoni site a network of military galleries leads to sighting posts from where the valley could be controlled and defended.</p>
