Easy walk with little elevation change and for the most part sunny.
This walk develops along trails and farm roads between the villages of Ronzone and Cavareno. The entire route is well marked with white and magenta signs bearing the inscription Sissipromenade. The beauty of this route is that it is simple and suitable for everyone. Furthermore, the sun exposure makes it a path suitable for every season.
The Sissipromenade, being an easy walk with little elevation change and mostly exposed to the South/West among woods and meadows, was dedicated to Empress Sissi, retracing the places and panoramas so dear to the nobles of the Habsburg court who visited the valley between Villa Imperiale and the current Hotel Regina del Bosco in Ronzone.

Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie of Wittelsbach, Munich Bavaria, born December 24, 1837 died in Geneva on September 10, 1898), known as “Sissi”, born duchess in Bavaria, was Empress of Austria, Apostolic Queen of Hungary, and Queen of Bohemia and Croatia as consort of Franz Joseph of Austria. Daughter of Duke Maximilian Joseph in Bavaria and Ludovika of Bavaria, she married in 1854 Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria, her first cousin. After the death of her son Rudolf in 1889, she withdrew more and more into the shadows and spent her last years on a perpetual journey in the Mediterranean. To recover and find peace, she left Austria to go to health resorts, including Madonna di Campiglio and Merano. Among her favorite holiday destinations was the Upper Val di Non with her stay at Villa Imperiale on Mendola Pass.
