Salita Passo Coe - Grandi Salite del Trentino
Beautiful climb for those who are not afraid of dealing with a difference in altitude of more than 1400 meters along the road (SS350) that from Calliano (Val Lagarina) climbs up the Plateau of Folgaria, up to the 1618 meters of Coe Pass, already a mountain stage of Giro d’Italia.
From 187 meters of altitude of Calliano, in the Adige Valley, up to 1614 meters of Coe Pass, on the Alp of Folgaria, it is a beautiful climb, considered one of the “Great climbs of Trentino”!
However, for the true lovers of bike climbing the difference in altitude does not frighten, stimulated also by the fact that Passo Coe was a mountain stage of Giro d’Italia in 2002, stage that was won by a Russian athlete Pavel Tonkov. Therefore, an itinerary all-uphill along the beautiful Rio Cavallo Valley and the landscape of Folgaria, before arriving on the Champions Pass. At the arrival, the Osteria Coe and the Restaurant La Stua will repay your effort with some typical specialties of Trentino!
