Tips and suggestions
Follow the Predaia MTB 3 signage
Roadbook
Starting from Palazzo Nero at Coredo one follows the signs for the Predaia MTB Number 3, which gradually rises through the area of Loc. Dossi and passes the Tavon play area and continues as far as the crossroads for the Sanctuary of San Romedio, and at which point the itineraries 1 and 2 go their own way. Following the signs for Route 3 one continues as far as the Venetian sawmill in Loc. Due Laghi – a fine example of the sawmills built in Trentino from the 13th century on and it is here that the uphill of 2 km which brings one to Loc. Merlonga begins. From Marlonga one again follows the signs for Predaia MTB Number 4 along the flat “Sentiero Panoramico” and which brings one to two terraces enjoying viewpoints over Due Laghi and the Sanctuary of San Romedio, the latter one of the main symbols of Val di Non and one of the most characteristic hermitages in the whole of Europe, and it having 5 small churches literally perched on the rock. A further short uphill takes one uphill to the highest point of the wood and from there a flat area leads to Smarano and Sfruz. Here, Route 3 separates from Route 4, and following the former and one goes uphill to “Lovere” where it joins up with itineraries 1 and 2 and by biking downhill one reaches Vervò. The downhill continues on to “3 Confini”, and here by following the appropriate signposting one takes the final uphill to the right and which after bordering on the fascinating spectacle of Castel Bragher takes one on to Coredo.
