<p>We are in the middle of the Lagorai Chain.</p> <p>The dark porphyritic rocks draw deep valleys and large expanses of rocks right above impassable mountain peaks. The ice ages have dug up accumulation cirques and moraines that now form hundreds of lakes and peat mosses.</p> <p> </p>
