Trento Ice Stadium is located in the sports area called Ghiaie, South of the city. It opened in 1995 and features an artificial ice-skating rink, which is 30 m x 60 m big and lit at night. The Stadium includes large 960-seat grandstands. There is also a snack bar. This stadium offers the chance to practice artistic and speed-skating as well as ice hockey. In the summertime the rink is used for roller-skating.
