The mountains as you've never seen them before
The latest news in the Let's Dolomites project is that of the weekly packages added to the tried and tested three-day offers for Adamello, Brenta Dolomites, Cevedale, Pale di San Martino, Fassa and Lagorai Dolomites, Trento and Monte Bondone, in the company of the Alpine Guides.
The Alpine Guides are professionals ready to experience with you the most intense emotions of a mountain adventure, like climbing up to a peak, travelling along a via ferrata, crossing a glacier, walking for days high in the mountains, from one mountain hut to the next. But above all, they are ideal companions, capable of revealing secrets and stories of the mountains in which they were born, and with whom you can discover routes, stories, and views that they know like the back of their hands.
In the summer of 2017, the Trentino Alpine Guides' College is once again offering the Let's Dolomites project, a series of packages designed for those who would like an adventure in the main mountain areas of Trentino: Adamello, Brenta Dolomites, Cevedale, Pale di San Martino, Fassa and Lagorai Dolomites, Trento and Monte Bondone.
There are three inspirational categories for the different experiences recommended by the Trentino Alpine Guides: Grande Adrenalina (Great Adrenaline), a multi-sports experience, including hiking and many mountain outdoor sports; Grande Emozione (Great Emotion), a series of hikes that concentrate more on discovering great horizons and breathtaking views in the mountains. Grande Guerra (Great War), experiences in the mountains among the settings of the so-called White War along the Dolomitic front and on the " Path of Peace".
The main news is the introduction of weekly packages (lasting six/seven days), with overnight stays in mountain huts and mountain dairies, on a half-board treatment.
These offers accompany the other three-day tours, which involve three days of activities with two overnight stays. Both alternatives include permanent assistance by these mountaineering professionals, free rental of any equipment required, transfers, and use of the lift facilities, in addition to some short lessons on the basic mountaineering techniques.
Prices start from € 390 for three-day packages and from € 630 for six/seven-day packages.
Today in Trentino, there are 211 Alpine Guides - Mountaineering Instructors, available to those who wish to experience the thrill of high altitudes. They are professionals authorised by a qualified group of Instructors, who followed an articulated and rather severe training programme that satisfies the criteria used in 21 different countries around the world and defined by the IFMGA - International Federation of Mountain Guides' Associations.
