A picturesque town located on a green plateau and on the outskirts of wide conifer woods, Coredo offers tourists wonderful views of the Val di Non and its mountains, the Brenta Dolomites and the Maddalene.
Coredo features an old tradition of tourism, as proved by its Liberty style villas dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. Overlooking the square in the middle of the town, the monumental church of Santa Maria Assunta was designed by architect Efrem Ferrari and was built between 1943 and 1948 in Neo-Renaissance style. Casa Marta - an attractive 16th century building in Venetian style - is located on the main road. Tourists are also invited to visit the small, Neoclassical church of the Madonna Addolorata, Palazzo Nero with its 15th century battlements, and the old parish church of the Invenzione della Croce.
The sanctuary of San Romedio, as well as the old Venetian saw mill and its neighbouring Museo del Legno (Museum of Wood), can be reached following a brief hiking trail, which starts from the small lakes right outside the town.
Visitors are more than welcome to join Coredo's events, such as the Floranaunia, the International Folklore Festival, Mondial Folk, the Festa della Colomela, the Festa dei vouti, and Il legno riprende vita, as well as numerous other events the town and the valley organize for themselves and their guests.
