In un recente contesto di apertura di numerose falesie in valle grazie alla passione dei climbers locali, la falesia Mondino costituisce la più grande della Val di Non, ed è ancora in fase di sviluppo.
<p>L’arrampicata è molto atletica e di resistenza in ambiente paesaggisticamente suggestivo. Grazie agli imponenti strapiombi che la sovrastano, la falesia del Mondino è <strong>l’unica falesia del Trentino dove si può arrampicare nelle giornate di pioggia e anche dopo lunghi periodi di maltempo</strong>.</p> <p>La parete non è adatta alle famiglie a causa della base molto esposta.</p> <p><strong>Avvicinamento</strong>: 10 minuti</p> <p> </p>

Climbing is very athletic and endurance-based in a scenically attractive environment. Thanks to the impressive overhangs that tower above, the Mondino crag is the only crag in Trentino where you can climb on rainy days and even after long periods of bad weather.
The wall is not suitable for families due to the very exposed base.

The routes are recent, bolted with spits on the East wall of the Mondino canyon, and are characterized by being very overhanging and demanding.
In 2013, the municipality of Castelfondo bolted another 14 medium-easy level routes, making the crag accessible to everyone.
In 2014, there were about fifty routes ranging from the fourth grade up to 8b.

The B632 line of Trentino Trasporti connects the hamlet of Dovena to the centers of Cles and Fondo.

Directions
Arriving at Castelfondo, turn right following the signs for Dovena. Cross this hamlet until you reach a junction near a fountain where signs for "CAI path 522" and for the crag are also found.
Then follow the signs for path 522 "Sentiero del Mondino" and start it near a barn. Walk the path descending into the canyon for about 400 meters until reaching the sectors "L'orto", "Esperanza", "Patti Territoriali", "Tasso" and "Mondino".

Parking
You can park in the center of Dovena near the fountain, although parking spaces are few. Alternatively, at the junction, you can continue uphill to the left where more parking spaces can be found. At the top of the hill is the brand new camper area.Coordinates
