“Once upon a time there was a castle” path
In the centre of the village of Tenno, just below the castle, you will find Borgo di Frapporta, the oldest part of the village. The point of departure of the itinerary is in front of the ogive door that allows the entrance to the burg.

The itinerary crosses Borgo di Frapporta, the oldest party of the village of Tenno, where the houses are large and made of stone, constructed one next to the other and crossed by narrow and characteristic streets. The Borgo is dominated by Tenno Castle, which dates back to 1100: it was conquered first by a number of feudal counts, then by the Bishopric of Trento. In 1700 it was badly damaged, and then a number of private individuals bought it and renovated it. After a brief stretch in Borgo di Frapporta, take the small road on the left that leads to Grom hill: from here you will enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Garda. Continue along the path, descending, and you will reach the small church of San Lorenzo: it was built in the year 1000 and contains, pictures dating back to the 13th century. The last part of the path passes in front of large terraces cultivated with olive trees.
