From Rovereto to the peaks of Baldo, passing through Corno della Paura and Bocca del Creer
The itinerary allows you to cross a wide variety of environments: starting from the valley floor you reach the 1500 meters of Corno della Paura from where, near the military posts, the view extends over the southern part of the Vallagarina, which opens towards the Venetian plain . Then back in the saddle to reach San Valentino, Bocca del Creer and from there gain another memorable viewpoint, a natural balcony overlooking Lake Garda: Bocca di Navene. If you decide to return to these places in winter, to see them covered in snow, bring skis or snowshoes with you! In fact, on Monte Baldo it is possible to go cross-country skiing in San Giacomo or skiing on the Polsa and San Valentino slopes. Those who do not ski find various itineraries to go with snowshoes. We then descend into the valley reaching Avio and from there, passing at the foot of the famous castle, following the Via Claudia Augusta cycle path that runs along the Adige river, we return to Rovereto and to the starting point.
